How Do I Choose the Right Tefzel Wire Size?
Wire size should be selected on current draw, circuit length, voltage drop, ambient temperature, bundling, connector rating, fuse rating and PDM current limit, not current draw alone. If the circuit carries significant current or runs a long distance through the vehicle, voltage drop may require a larger wire. Neighbouring gauges: 22 AWG and 18 AWG.
