Sumitomo W5DL Dual Wall Glue Lined Heatshrink 1/2" (12.7mm)

Sumitomo W5DL 1/2" dual wall glue lined heatshrink tubing. The 1/2" size is suited to main harness trunk sealing, large branch boot applications and bulkier connector back shell environments in motorsport wiring builds. The adhesive inner wall melts at temperature and fills all voids between conductors, creating a robust environmental seal that can still be removed for rework if required. Direct alternative to Raychem SCL, sharing the same AMS-DTL-23053/4 Class 1 military specification.

Supplied internal diameter: 12.7mm. Recovered internal diameter: approximately 4.3mm. Fits wire and harness bundles up to 12.7mm before recovery. For large diameter recovery, begin shrinking from the centre and work outward to prevent the tube rolling inside out. Shrink ratio: 3:1. Shrink temperature: 140 degrees C. Operating temperature range: -55 degrees C to +110 degrees C. Material: semi-rigid dual wall polyolefin with meltable encapsulant inner wall. Colour: Black.
