Sumitomo W5DL Dual Wall Glue Lined Heatshrink 1/4" (6.4mm)

Sumitomo W5DL 1/4" dual wall glue lined heatshrink tubing. The 1/4" is one of the most commonly used sizes in motorsport harness builds, covering the majority of branch boot and splice applications on standard gauge wire bundles. The inner adhesive wall melts on heat application and flows into voids between conductors, creating a fully encapsulated watertight seal. Direct alternative to Raychem SCL, sharing the same AMS-DTL-23053/4 Class 1 military specification.

Supplied internal diameter: 6.4mm. Recovered internal diameter: approximately 2.1mm. Fits wire and harness bundles up to 6.4mm before recovery. A harness bundle measuring 5.8mm should use the 1/4" size for a tight recovered fit. Shrink ratio: 3:1. Shrink temperature: 140 degrees C. Operating temperature range: -55 degrees C to +110 degrees C. Material: semi-rigid dual wall polyolefin with meltable encapsulant inner wall. Colour: Black.
