Sumitomo W5DL Dual Wall Glue Lined Heatshrink 1" (25.4mm)

Sumitomo W5DL 1" dual wall glue lined heatshrink tubing. The largest size in the W5DL range, the 1" is reserved for major harness trunk sealing on full vehicle wiring builds, large bulkhead pass-throughs and oversized connector back shell applications. The substantial adhesive inner wall melts and fully encapsulates large conductor bundles, providing maximum environmental protection and strain relief at the harness exit point. Direct alternative to Raychem SCL, sharing the same AMS-DTL-23053/4 Class 1 military specification.

Supplied internal diameter: 25.4mm. Recovered internal diameter: approximately 8.5mm. Fits wire and harness bundles up to 25.4mm before recovery. At this diameter it is critical to recover from the centre outward and to apply even heat around the full circumference to prevent uneven shrinkage. Shrink ratio: 3:1. Shrink temperature: 140 degrees C. Operating temperature range: -55 degrees C to +110 degrees C. Material: semi-rigid dual wall polyolefin with meltable encapsulant inner wall. Colour: Black.
