Open Barrel Wire Splice - X-Small

Genuine TE Connectivity (AMP) open barrel splice, X-Small size, part number 62759-1. The open barrel crimps around the stripped conductors the same way a connector terminal does, giving a compact, inspectable, vibration proof join. This is how concentric twist harnesses and factory looms are spliced.

Sizing by CMA: add up the circular mil area of every wire entering the splice and pick the splice whose CMA range covers the total. This X-Small covers 400 to 1,300 CMA, a single 22 AWG Tefzel wire (754 CMA) or a pair of small signal wires.

Common Tefzel wire CMA values: 22 AWG = 754, 20 AWG = 1,216, 18 AWG = 1,900, 16 AWG = 2,426, 14 AWG = 3,830, 12 AWG = 5,900.
